Willis Fischerranch is a rustic, family-run restaurant situated beside the Faggenbach stream, about 2 km past Prutz at the entrance to Kaunertal, Tyrol. The charming mountain‑hut atmosphere, welcoming garden seating, and cozy indoor stube create an inviting setting . The kitchen specializes in freshly caught trout, char, and salmon from its own high‑quality aquaculture, plus traditional Tyrolean dishes . A small children’s playground makes it ideal for families . Open from April to mid‑October (closed in winter), the service is warm, attentive, and with good value in a scenic alpine setting .

Very nice place. I totally love it. The fish menu is trout. Fried or smoked. But is excellent. Both of them. I personally prefer a resto with short menu. It allows to focus on quality. The food is not elaborate. Plain simple tasty trout. There are also other choices and kids are easily accommodated. To recommend.
